The IAC and the preparatory class for higher education—the Visual Arts Advanced Track at Lycée Lumière in Lyon—have been collaborating since 2017 as part of a training module on oral exhibition mediation.
Through reflection on and practice of art mediation, this partnership enables students to gain a deeper understanding of the field of contemporary art, as well as the missions and activities of an art center and a FRAC, and to speak about the artworks to a diverse audience.
This year, the training took place during the exhibition INTRICATIONS by Josèfa Ntjam, which you, too, can explore in their company.
The students welcome you to free guided tours they have designed themselves, held every half hour, as well as to guided discussions in the galleries throughout your visit.
→ Practical Information
Sunday, January 11, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tours depart at 3:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.; no reservation required.
