Charles-Arthur Feuvrier Fok-Shan

Born in 1997 in Besançon, France
Lives and works in Marseille, France

Charles-Arthur Feuvrier Fok-Shan explores the collective imaginaries of the southwestern Indian Ocean through hybrid installations that combine sculpture and video. By bringing together sculptural forms and a critical perspective, he reimagines the myths that permeate the islands of the Mascarene Archipelago, while examining how narratives are created, circulated, and transformed within processes of creolization. His work highlights the tensions between belief, representation, and the construction of identities.
